The Slovak Paradise is only one – for the Czechs and everybody else. I came here three years ago. I was not married with my wife at that time. We wanted to be in paradise and our dream came true. The gorges and waterfalls are simply beautiful and the national park is not filled with hotels, as the High Tatras is. I made such incredible photos here last year that I had to hang them on walls of my living room. I have shot the most stunning places – not only the Tomášovský view but also Geravy and chamois above the gulley of the river Hornád.

We have been visiting the Slovak Paradise for many, many years, and we have seen a lot of improvement during the last years, mainly in services. The standard is considerably higher, tourists can accommodate in nice lodging houses, we can choose from many good restaurants, and these changes did not affect the untamed character of the national park. We prefer going to the southern part of the national park, Palcmanská Maša and Mlynky. Everyone can spend a pleasant holiday here, summer or winter. In my opinion, it is our duty to support the tourism in Slovakia.

The Slovak Paradise is a perfect place of relax for families with children. We do not walk on iron ladders with our small kids yet – we will do that when the kids will grow up a bit. For the moment, we visit Dedinky, walk along the Glac gorge and other gorges with shorter, easier ladders. The services might bear some improvement, as everywhere in Slovakia, but it is only here in the Slovak Paradise where you can find such beautiful, taintless nature. In the summer, meadows are shimmering with butterflies, we can ride bicycles, camp outside, or enjoy full comfort of lodging houses and hotels. Our whole family feels just like in paradise!
